    Delete your Hive Evo account

    Delete your account in the app or on the website

    In the Hive Evo app: Me → Privacy & data → Delete account, then type DELETE to confirm.

    On hive-evo.com: sign in, open your Profile → Privacy & data → Delete my account, click Delete account, then type DELETE and click Delete permanently to confirm.

    Can't sign in? Email support@hive-evo.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm within 30 days.

    If you have upcoming lessons or scheduled lectures, cancel these before deleting your account.

    Download my data first

    Before deleting your account, save a copy of your personal data. Open Privacy & data on your learner profile or tutor profile, find Download my data and click Download JSON. You'll need to sign in.

    What is deleted

    • Your profile and photo, and personal details.
    • Your notifications, lesson requests and messages, and reschedule requests.
    • Your lecture registrations.
    • For tutors: your availability, time off and lectures.

    Deleting is permanent and can't be undone.

    What we keep

    • Invoices and payment records: kept only as long as South African tax law requires (usually 5 years).
    • Past lessons and ratings: kept in anonymised form (your name is removed) so the other person's history stays correct.
    • Safety reports: kept for moderation.
